Live Betting and Cash Out Feature
Live betting lets you place bets while a match is in progress. Odds move in line with the latest developments — for example, after a goal or red card, markets will pause briefly before being updated again. This gives players who read the match well the chance to find better value.
Live Asian Handicap
Asian Handicap in live betting format — odds change every minute based on current match conditions.
Half-Time Over/Under
Bet on whether the total number of goals in the first half will be over or under the set figure.
Next Team to Score
Predict which team will score the next goal — a popular market during live football betting.
Set Winner and Total Points (Badminton)
Specific to badminton matches — predict the set winner or the total points in a set while play is ongoing.
What Is Cash Out?
Cash Out lets you settle a bet early before the final result — at a value matching the current live odds. If the match is going as you predicted, cashing out early lets you lock in a win. If conditions change, you can cut your losses. This feature is available on many betting markets on the mk8slot platform.
Partial Cash Out is also available — you can withdraw part of the bet's value while letting the remainder run, giving you more flexible control over each bet.
3 Practical Tips for Live Betting
- Watch the match live while you bet — odds movements often reflect unexpected opportunities. Anyone paying close attention can react faster.
- Do not rush to use Cash Out early in the match. The cash out value depends on current odds — wait until your team is in control of the match to get a better offer.
- Set your daily betting limit first. Live betting moves fast and can easily lead you to bet more than planned without personal limits in place.
Gambling and Betting Glossary
Understand key terms before you start betting — short, straightforward explanations in English.
Asian Handicap
An Asian-originated sports betting method that eliminates the possibility of a draw by giving a handicap to the weaker team. For example, -1.5 means the favourite must win by at least 2 goals.
Over/Under (Totals)
A bet based on the combined total — whether the total number of goals, points or scores in a match will be higher than (Over) or lower than (Under) the figure set by the platform.
Odds Format
Odds can be displayed in three main formats: Decimal (1.85), Fractional (17/20) and American (-118). The decimal format is most commonly used by Asian players as it is easier to calculate.
RTP (Return to Player)
The average percentage of money returned to players over the long run for a given slot game. RTP is a theoretical figure based on millions of spins and is not a guarantee of winnings in any single session.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the platform holds over players on every game. The lower the house edge, the more favourable the game is for players on average.
Wagering Requirement
The betting requirement that must be met before winnings from a bonus can be withdrawn. At mk8slot, the wagering requirement for the welcome bonus is 15x the total bonus received.
Live Dealer Casino
A casino format where players interact with a real human dealer in real time via video stream. Games such as baccarat, roulette and blackjack are offered in this format for a more authentic experience.
Slot Volatility
The level of variance in a slot's payouts. Low Volatility pays more frequently but in smaller amounts, while High Volatility pays less frequently but with the potential for much larger wins.
Progressive Jackpot
A top prize that keeps growing each time a player places a bet on the linked slot network until someone wins it. This jackpot can span multiple games across multiple platforms.
Cashback
A partial return of your losses over a set period — usually given weekly. At mk8slot, VIP members receive weekly cashback depending on their membership tier.
Mix Parlay
A combined bet where several match selections are grouped into a single slip. All selections must be correct to win, but the multiplied odds produce the potential for a much higher return.
KYC (Know Your Customer)
An identity verification process that players must complete before their first withdrawal. This typically requires a copy of the national identity card (MyKad) to verify the account holder's identity.
International Licensing and Player Protection
mk8slot operates under an international licence that requires compliance with fair gaming standards, segregation of player funds and consumer protection programmes. This licence is not jurisdiction-specific to Malaysia as there is no local regulatory framework governing online casino operations in Malaysia.
Independent RNG Testing
The random number generators (RNG) of all games are independently verified and tested to ensure fair outcomes that cannot be manipulated.
Player Funds Segregated
Player funds are held in an account separate from the platform's operating funds to ensure the safety of your deposit.
Age Limit 21+
Registration and participation are restricted to individuals aged 21 and above. Age verification is carried out during the KYC process to comply with international licensing requirements.
Responsible Gambling Programme
Deposit limit tools, daily betting limits and account suspension options are available to help players maintain control over their gambling activity.
